HO Lynn is the founder of the Yuan Yuan Educational Foundation, and is
a teacher, lecturer, writer, spiritual practitioner and consultant.
Beginning in 1984, HO Lynn volunteered her assistance to LIN Yun as one of
his closest disciples and students. Over the years her responsibilities
included serving as his teaching assistant, planning his course syllabus,
creating audio-visual teaching aids, acting as his English translator, and
assisting at his numerous private consultation sessions.
In addition, HO Lynn was instrumental in starting a quarterly English
publication for his temple - the Yun Lin Temple News. She served as its
editor-in-chief from 1988 to 1992, and remained as the publication's
columnist, writing the well-received "Questions and Answers" column until
the publication ceased to exist in 1996. Since 1989, HO Lynn has dedicated
herself exclusively to spreading Professor LIN Yun's teachings, often
teaching and lecturing on LIN’s behalf. She has given lectures, seminars and
consultations at the nation's top universities, major corporations and
community level organizations. This include Stanford University, San
Francisco State University, Brown University, MIT, Snaidero USA and R.M.
Chin & Associates of Chicago, Trace Storage & Technology Company of Taiwan,
the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco, Friends of the Public Libraries in
the Bay Areas, real estate companies, architectural and interior design
companies, business associations, women’s community groups, and elderly
community groups. In addition, Teacher HO is often invited to speak and
teach for various professional Feng Shui organizations including the Feng
Shui Academe of Seattle and the original International Feng Shui
Conferences. HO Lynn now conducts classes, seminars, workshops, and
one-on-one private mentoring sessions based on LIN Yun's teachings about
life, ch'i, Chinese folkloric culture, customs and traditions, philosophies,
beliefs, a practical approach to I-Ching, Feng Shui, spiritual cultivation
and meditation, holistic healing, and other transcendental knowledge.
