Shui consultations and performed blessing ritual for a start-up

Invited as one of their honorable guests to be
present during the dedication event of the new Yungdrung Bon Monastic
Library at the Menri Monastery exiled in India, Master Teacher Ho
Lynn, accompanied by assistant Suzan Peng, participated on behalf of
Yuan Yuan Educational Foundation. The library’s dedication ceremony
was presided by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in person. His visit at
the Menri Monastery was only the second time since the establishment
of the Monastery and was the highlight during Ho’s second visit at the
Menri Monastery - the main Tibetan Bon temple established in India
outside of Tibet. |

Master Teacher Ho Lynn met with all board members
of the Yungdrung Bon Monastic Center Association (YBMC). The meeting
was conducted personally by His Holiness Lungtok Tenpai Nyima Rinpoche,
Abbot of the Menri Monastery, who is regarded as the spiritual leader
of Bon followers worldwide. Purpose of this meeting was to communicate
directly with the YBMC regarding our foundation’s on-going, charitable
project on “Sponsoring A Young Bonpo Monk’s Higher Education”, and to
pave ways for a smoother working relationship between YBMC and our
foundation for the benefit of our sponsored monks studying at the
Dialectic School. |

Arranged by the YBMC of the Menri
Monastery, Master Teacher Ho Lynn who is known by her given Tibetan
name, Jetsun Darma among the monks at the Menri Monastery, held an
around the table talk with a majority of the 73 monks sponsored by our
foundation. This is the first time ever that such a program was
conducted at the Menri Monastery involving YYEF, through which a
direct dialogue with our sponsored monks was established.

Geshe Tenzin Yangton - His World of Bon
Practices

The Nine Steps Breathing Practice of the Bon Tradition: This is
a short, fundamental Bon practice designed to open and clear channels,
relax our mind and body. It is a practice essential to the Preliminary
Practices.

Tsa-Lung Practice of the Bon Tradition: "Tsa" refers to
channels and "Lung" refers to prana (Chi or vital energy). The "Tsa-Lung"
practice is an important practice of the Bon tradition. By holding the
correct meditative posture, combining inhale and exhale exercises, and
visualization, our chakras are opened to allow vital energies to flow
unobtrusively.

Geshe Samdrup Dorji - The Sherab Jhamma Practice
of the Bon Tradition

In the practice of Sherab Jhamma, the great goddess of loving wisdom
in the Bon Buddhist tradition, we learn to transform the physical,
energetic and mental dimensions of our beings into the radiantly
luminous space of the goddess. Through visualization and mantra we
invoke the external; manifestation of the goddess as the source of
infinite blessings and support, and seek to recognize our own nature
as the vast loving wisdom consciousness
of the great mother.
